A time to stay true to your path: Your tarot forecast for the week of April 25, 2016

The Moon Wild UnknownHow did last week’s Full Moon in Scorpio feel for you?

I noticed a lot of buzzing energy. Many people I crossed paths with seemed almost giddy, eager to openly share their stories, experiences, and ideas.

With so many planets in retrograde right now – Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, and Saturn – and with Mercury going retrograde later this week, we are all getting an opportunity to correct past mistakes and regrettable decisions.

We are also being given second chances, and are getting the chance to rework old lessons that might not have stuck for us the first time around.

The energy of the Scorpio Full Moon will have helped to dig up secrets and hidden realizations, and given us special access to our subconscious worlds that might have helped trigger forgotten or neglected desires. Its energy will linger throughout the next two weeks, helping us to shed any skin that we no longer want to wear.

The Moon is showing up for this week’s tarot forecast. This is a card that forces us to get real about the illusions we perpetuate in our lives, or the lies that we tell ourselves – a fitting message to follow all of the Scorpio influence that’s in the air.

The Moon’s message doesn’t have to be as harsh as it sounds; sometimes, we don’t even know we’re hiding behind a veil.

For example, the Moon can show up when someone is in a relationship that they are not happy in, but they keep waiting it out, month after month, or even year after year, expecting that something will change when in reality, it never does.

The lie or illusion that’s coming out of this is the willingness to soldier on, to act like things will one day be okay when realistically, they won’t be. The relationship is as-is.

The Moon’s energy warns us that the more we deny our truths, the further we stray from our path. If you live in an illusion long enough, one day you’ll wake up and find yourself so far away from where you wanted to be that you’ll look around and ask, “How did I ever get here?”

So take the Moon into consideration this week and check in with yourself to see where you might be straying from your path by avoiding your truth. Remember that this is a time to let go of what’s not working anymore.

Here’s a mantra for you to work with throughout the week:

Illusion does not light my way, only distorts it. I promise to honour and value myself, and my truth.

And if you want to gather in a welcoming, supportive circle to invite something new into your life when the next lunar cycle begins, then I would love to have you join me in a New Moon gathering on Friday, May 6.

May promises some auspicious astrological alignments, and it all starts with the New Moon in Taurus which can help you manifest love, prosperity, abundance, creativity, and more.

This New Moon gathering takes place at Third Line Studios near Trinity Bellwoods, and starts at 7pm. You can reserve your spot here.

Have a great week, everyone!

Until next time,

Liz xo
