Last week, the Sun moved in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. It’s no accident that Aries ushers in spring; they are one and the same. Aries, the ram, is very much like the seeds and buds that are pushing their way out into the world now.
After a long winter, the seeds of spring need the strength and persistence of a ram’s horns, because they need to push against frozen earth in order for new growth to flourish.
And Aries is all about action; it’s forever ready to charge ahead with energy and enthusiasm, ever-ready to push past whatever challenge it meets – frozen earth or otherwise.
The Ace of Pentacles is all about new opportunities. It’s a time for us to think about what we are ready to create, to invite in, and to say yes to.
We are in a season of awakening. It’s time to take action.
Where are you ready to transform?
Where are you ready to take a risk, even one that might not offer any promises or guarantees?
What are you ready to be excited about?
The Ace of Pentacles appears as a gift from the universe; spring is the gift that is being handed to us now, and the world is saying, “What is it that you would like to grow this season?”
Think about what your contribution can be. This is a time for planting seeds.
With Saturn in retrograde in Sagittarius for the next five months, it is also a time to find a way to make our dreams sustainable.
Sagittarius is about expansion and knowledge; it is the seeker and adventurer. Under Saturn’s influence, though, the restlessness that Sagittarius can sometimes kick up becomes harnessed.
We’ll all feel a pull to figure out how we can take our loftiest dreams and turn them into a sustainable reality. So expect that your efforts this spring will be supported by the firm foundation that Saturn will ask you to create.
If you feel doubtful about how you can make something work, don’t give up; that is Saturn’s influence forcing you to examine the logistics of a plan in a much deeper way than you might otherwise.
If you can face the discomfort and make time to troubleshoot, you can set yourself up for long-term success.
Here’s a mantra for you to work with throughout the week:
Like a seed, I am part of the spring season. My beginnings may look small now, but I know that I will flourish in time.
Have a great week, everyone!
Until next time,
