Welcoming September’s second New Moon: Libra energy reigns

justiceThis Friday brings the second New Moon of September, in the sign of Libra.

The tarot message for this week’s forecast is too perfect: Justice, the scales, mirroring Libra’s own. I’ve talked a lot about karmic shifts throughout the past month, as September’s eclipses can connect to our own karma and the lessons we are here to move through.

The Justice card often connects to karma because it reminds us that every action has a reaction. Your words and deeds vibrate into the world, not only shaping your reality but folding into the experiences of everyone around you.

For this New Moon in Libra, intentions of fairness, kindness, balance, and equality can come through. Libra is very concerned with making the world a better place, but also a more beautiful one. I’ve often found that my Libra friends struggle with deciding between pursuing a life in art, or a life in social justice.

Libra can be brilliantly talented in both areas.

This New Moon is also conjunct lucky Jupiter, which is in Libra, too. The transformations that have started to take hold this month can begin to take shape as we head into October and beyond.

Relationships, partnerships, collaborations, and overall cooperation can flourish now as we are poised to understand ourselves in better ways.

The more we focus on our own personal growth, healing, and awareness, the more opportunity we create for ourselves to strengthen our relationships and connections with the world around us.

That’s what this this New Moon in Libra asks you to do: Where is your place in the world? What kind of presence do you bring when you walk into a room? What kind of impact would you like to make in the future?

Having two New Moons in one month might seem like a lot of work. Really, with two Moon cycles and the power of the eclipses they brought, we’ve had to walk through several new doors these past few weeks.

But I think Jupiter’s optimism is going to buoy the collective energy and help us all to keep moving forward. It’s a time to be excited for what’s to come, and for what you can bring forward into the world.

If it helps, here’s a mantra you can work with throughout the week:

Harmony begins with knowing my true self.

And if you have a tarot deck of your own and want to connect with this week’s New Moon in Libra, here is a simple spread you can try at home:

1. What do I now need to bring into balance?
2. What truth is it time for me to reveal?
3. How can I be more honest with myself?
4. How can I be of service to others?

As always, if you’re interested in getting a reading with me to better understand your path, I would love to hear from you.

Happy New Moon!

Until next time,

Liz xo
