TAROT FLUENCY

A 4-Week Journey Toward Intuitive Tarot Reading

Live online ~ Join from anywhere in the world!

Open to intermediate readers + ambitious beginners <3

Do you ever lay down a few tarot cards and wish you could make sense of them as they are, without having to look up their meanings, or second-guess what you’re seeing?

 Or do you often find yourself reading one card at a time in your tarot spreads, unable to zoom out and see the bigger picture?

 Or do you ever pull cards you’re not expecting, and then you feel thrown off when you’re not sure how to relate them back to their spread position?

If any of this sounds familiar, you’ve probably wondered…

•How can I start making more intuitive connections in my readings?

 •How can I start to see connections between cards and symbols, so that I can start reading my cards in combination rather than one by one?

•How can I start feeling more confident with every card in my tarot deck, regardless of the topic of the reading?

•How I can seamlessly weave insights, answers, and narratives throughout my readings so that I feel like I’m in flow with my cards?

It sounds like you’re ready to develop TAROT FLUENCY.

A lot of us start off with learning tarot card meanings.
But at some point, we start to realize that the card meanings can only take you so far in a reading.
You start to wonder: Is there more than this?

Maybe you start to see how other readers work, and you see them picking up the smallest details in their readings, and you think to yourself:
I'd love to get to that level!

In Tarot Fluency, that’s what we focus on.

You will learn:

• How to see the bigger picture in your tarot readings;

• How to read cards in combination;

• How to break out of clunky card meanings and make more intuitive interpretations;

• How to gain confidence reading on unexpected or unusual questions;

 • How to lay a few cards on the table and read them as they are;

• And more...

This course takes you through weekly lessons that will give you practical methods to help you build your tarot skills.

This course is suited for anyone who has some grasp of the standard card meanings, and is ready to learn beyond that.

Here’s the course curriculum:

Lesson One: Cards in combination. This foundational lesson will teach you how to reach cards in combination through the three-card method. Break away from card positions and learn to see how just a few cards can come to life when you learn to look at them together.

Lesson Two: Case studies in the unexpected. This lesson dovetails with what you learn in Lesson One, where we will look at how to make sense of your cards when unexpected questions arise. Learn new ways to see the tarot and gain confidence taking on questions you might be afraid to try.

Lesson Three: Taking tarot literally. Do you ever find yourself saying the same things about certain cards? Are you stuck on repeat with your ideas about tarot? Or maybe you sometimes miss the obvious in your readings, and you don’t realize it until later. This lesson will show you how literal tarot can be. We’ll go through a number of examples of the Major and Minor Arcana to learn how literal tarot can be.

Lesson Four: Synthesizing bigger spreads. We’ll look at three classic spreads – the Celtic Cross, the Zodiac Tarot, and the 7-Card Horseshoe – to learn how to synthesize bigger tarot readings. Learn how to apply the skills and techniques you’ve learned throughout each class and see how they can work in larger, positional tarot spreads.

Bonus Self-Study Workshop: Master the Court Cards. Do you consistently get stumped by the Court Cards no matter how much you study? Or are you ready for some new ways to look at these old cards? I've added in a self-study workshop to cover all things Court Cards!

All sessions are recorded and you will have ongoing access to the materials.

- Caitlin Kelly

Hi. I'm Liz.

I’ve been teaching tarot since 2015, and the cards have been an integral part of my life for much longer.

One of the things that can feel like it blocks your growth as a tarot reader is trying to figure out how to synthesize the cards into one story or interpretation.

Tarot students often find themselves getting stuck on certain cards, or struggle to put their interpretations into the right words.

If that’s something you can relate to, you’re not alone: This is a common crossroads that many tarot readers have passed through before.

One of the things I’ve often heard in my tarot classes is that students want to feel more confident in trusting what they are seeing in the cards themselves.

That is what I aim to help you to do in my classes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes! All classes are recorded and will be available in your student portal by the next business day. You can revisit the materials as often you want with ongoing access to the course.

Some concepts take longer to teach than others, especially in live settings. Expect to be in class for anywhere from 60-90 minutes, though some classes may run longer depending on the level of student participation.

As long as you are open to learning and willing to try, you will be fine to join. This course focuses on reading your cards from a visual perspective, so you will learn a lot about how to work from tarot's imagery. You can be at any level to learn this.

We meet on Zoom, and I use PowerPoint slides to show you various cards and reading combinations. If you have a strong aversion to PowerPoint, my classes are not for you.
