What this class covers:

Tarot parties can be a lot of fun - but they can also be intimidating. There is a lot to manage, from pricing and client contracts, to time management and client boundaries, to setting and meeting expectations.

What you bring as a tarot reader can make or break an event: The pressure is on! But when done right, tarot parties can leave people with amazing memories, and will help you build a wider clientele in your area.

Here's what you will learn in this workshop:

Getting hired: Learn strategies to market yourself locally, including website optimization, to build word of mouth and promote yourself as a go-to tarot reader in your area. Learn how to create an engaging, informative sales page for your website that will get people excited to hire you!

Creating policies and contracts: Learn how to protect yourself when things don't go as planned. Client cancellations, or last-minute scheduling changes can make or break your experience as a party reader. Learn how to create clear policies that work for you, and receive an event contract template you can start using in your business.

Pricing and structure: These two go hand in hand. Your rates need to reflect your work and more. Learn how to manage your time at busy events while keeping guests happy, and ensure you are adequately compensated for your labour, travel, and more.

Guest management: What about the actual readings? What if someone asks a question you're not expecting? What if you have to deliver challenging news? We'll talk about how to manage the tough stuff at events. Plus, you'll leave with a few simple but effective tarot spreads that you can rely on for quick but insightful party readings.
